Yakov Yakubov 43, of Sderot.

He made aliyah with his family 12 years ago. He worked a forklift at a factory in the nearby Sha`ar Hanegev Industrial aria.

Ya`akov died from his wounds after being critically injured from a Kassam rocket attack on the factory that he worked at. "I heard that a kassam fell at the factory that my husband worked at and I had a bad feeling, wich worsened when he didn`t answer his cell phone", said his wife Purim, "when I saw that there was no answer, my friends from work took me to Sderot, and from there to Soroka Hospital in Be`er Sheva". His two sons also tried to reach him on his cell, and when he didn`t answer they feared the worst. They didn`t even get to see their father in the morning because he got up for work before they woke up.

Yakov Yakubov is survived by his wife Purim and two sons 12 and 13 years old. He was laid to rest at the Sderot cemetery

Yuval Abebah 4 from Sderot. Arus Tzhio Kaso, Yuval`s mother and mother of four boys, Yuval the youngest of them. From the day she was widowed, she spent her entire life to raising her children. The family moved from Eilat to Sderot six years ago and lives there together with relatives.

"We were sitting outside my mother`s house. My son was playing and having a good time everything was normal I looked at him, how he was enjoying. Al of a sudden there was a far off explosion. We knew it was a Kassam, but we didn`t have time to think and there was another explosion next to me. Everything went black. Everyone was screaming. I searched for my little Yuval. And then I saw him right next to me".

Arus`s mother was also wounded and hospitalized. Her nephew Ya`akov Eilien, 16, from Netanyah was seriously wounded and was operated on at the hospital.

Dana Galikovitz a kibbutznik from Brur Chayil, she was 22. She lived in an apartment at Netiv Haesrie, Dana lived together with her boyfriend Amir Regolski in an apartment adjoined with his parents house.

Dana was a student in communications at Sapir College adjacent to Sderot and worked on the kibbutz Netiv Ha`esrei Amir also worked on the Kibbutz.


At her family`s house in Kibbuz Brur Chayil her friends told us of a red haired girl "she was marvelous and was always looking out for herself, we all loved her here. She was full of spirit, she was the last person that we thought something bad would happen to".

Dana is survived by her parents, Natan and Parlah Galikovitz, a brother and sister.

Mordichai Yosephov 49, from Sderot.

Mordichai was waiting on a bench next to the park, where his grandchildren were. Mordichai was born in Uzbekistan and made aliyah in 1993. His neighbors said hat he was a quite and gentle person as well as a dedicated family man

At his funeral there were many from the Bucharian Jewish community.

He is survived by his wife, son, daughter, and five grandchildren
