Paena Slotzker 57, of Sderot. Paena and her husband Michael made aliyah three years ago from Biarnesk , Russia.
The couple was married 36 years ago and has two children, Igor 31married and father of one, and Natasha 35 married and mother of two, and has lived in Israel for a number of years. Paena and her husband decided to come to Israel after both their children moved and to be able to be close to their grandchildren.
Fanny, Michael`s sister told us "she was always full of happiness, who always managed to find time to help everyone; she feared the Kassams".
Paena worked looking after the elderly. The day she was killed she asked to arrive early to work and switched her appointment at the heath care clinic with her husband.
Paena was laid to rest at the section for gentiles at the Sderot cemetery.
