Oshri grew up in Rishon Le`Zion. Only a few years ago his father passed away. During his army service he was in charge of Foreign volunteers, after he finished his army service he started working at "Peretz Bonei Ha`Negev" (a company in Sderot) as a computer technician, after a few years he left the company to start his own business. He would drive to Sderot on specific days in order to continue servicing his former company.
His close friends , Yosi Kishk and David Korziner arrived at his house and told us a little about Oshri. We would laugh about him driving to Sderot . We would tell him he needs to give himself a bonus because of the danger.
Oshri was a graduate of the Israeli Scouts "Yafo Sea Scouts", and continued to be active in the Scouts system. Kishk and Korziner told how they spent time together at the Scout`s reunion. Sabbath eve all the guys with their wives and children arrived at Korziner`s house, who told: "We were always in touch on a daily basis, I`ve known him for 25 years. It`s hard to describe something like this. Everyone who met him immediately would love him. He was a warm and supportive person who liked to help people. He was always going to Sderot to take care of the company`s computers. Today as usual he drove to Sderot, he wasn`t afraid to drive to Sderot, and he never told us about any fears of driving there".
Sabi Elmozlino, another childhood friend of Oshri`s from the Scouts: "I met Oshri when he was a member and the as an instructor in the Scouts. Even during the years after he left he continued to arrive at the Scouts and help out. He was six years older than me, in the first news reports they said a young man had been injured, and then rumors began surfacing within the Scout network, He was an incredible person who was always ready to help – a scout in every bone of his body, and an incredible instructor."
Oshri`s Employer Eldar Peretz said: "We are in complete shock from what happened. He was a complete "king of the Earth" and has been working here for a long time. He was in charge of the computer systems at the `Peretz Center`. He would come to Sderot on specific days to give us service. In spite of the Kassam rockets we never saw in him any fear of coming here. He was an extraordinarily talented person, and we grew attached to him. It`s personally hard for me to speak about him in the past tense."
Oshri Oz Z"l - is survived by his wife Suzana who is six months pregnant, his daughter Daniel, his mother and two sisters.
